Senior Accountant

Woda Management and Real Estate, a real estate management, development and construction company based in the Midwest is seeking a Senior Accountant for our corporate office located in Westerville, OH. The Senior Accountant position requires a hard-working individual who is able to multi-task and adapts to change in work priorities.
This position reports directly to either the Development Controller or the Management Controller. The Senior Accountant needs to have solid computer skills, including an intermediate level knowledge of MS Excel, Access, Outlook and QuickBooks. He/she needs to be organized and work well with various deadlines. This individual needs to be energetic and willing to work extra hours, sometimes at short notice, and needs to be a team player.
The basic tasks he/she is responsible for include:
Compile monthly property financial statement packets including review of the bank reconciliations performed by the Staff Accountants
Compile and send quarterly reports related to property operations and financial information to investors and lenders
Compile and send annual budget for the property to investors and lenders
Compile annual audit workpaper packet for review
Send audit workpaper packet to auditors and work with auditors to address questions or open items that arise from their review
Participate in monthly portfolio review meeting for portfolio of properties assigned
Work closely with Regional and District Managers related to the financial needs of the properties
Assist in the review of replacement reserve withdrawal requests
Review / Approve weekly accounts payable requests for properties assigned
Various corporate financial statement duties as assigned
Other duties as assigned

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
